Job Purpose
The primary function of the role is to bring new business opportunities and provide prospective customers/clients with all logistics services offered and additional presentations as needed; and work with clients to create solutions for their logistics needs and consult throughout the sales process.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/ MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Air Logistics Sales or Freight Forwarding sales.
  • Proven track record in business development and client acquisition in the logistics industry.
  • Experience in handling key accounts and revenue targets.
  • Exposure to international freight (Air Freight preferred).
  • Experience in managing P&L responsibilities will be an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through targeted sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Drive revenue growth and be responsible for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the logistics business.
  • Develop new business pipelines to ensure continuous business growth.
  • Focus on acquiring and retaining profitable customers.
  • Manage commercial activities of assigned customer accounts in line with company targets.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and cost projections for new business opportunities.
  • Drive cross-selling and up-selling within the existing customer base.
Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of customer accounts and new business activities.
  • Generate reports as required for business tracking and performance review.
  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Operations, and Logistics teams.
  • Support internal teams in business development initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment with short-term and long-term business objectives.
