Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and sustain strong, long-term relationships with approved vendors.
Identify and evaluate suitable vendors based on product quality, pricing, service capabilities, and market reputation.
Conduct detailed research to determine which vendors offer competitive pricing and high-quality products.
Oversee, track, and measure vendor performance against contractual obligations.
Implement vendor selection and onboarding programs to secure the best suppliers for the organization.
Evaluate existing vendor management practices and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Make wise vendor development (e.g., Airbus, Boeing, Cessna, ATR, Bell, etc.).
Obtain special pricing based on monthly business volume (MoM).
Expedite shipments by leveraging strong vendor relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
Explore partnership opportunities such as dealership tie-ups or warehouse utilization models.
Handle escalations effectively to resolve vendor-related issues.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Monitor sales trends to identify popular products and adjust vendor strategies accordingly.
Assist in aligning vendor management strategies with divisional and organizational goals.
Support contract management activities, including negotiations and performance review cycles.
Ensure clear communication and coordination between internal teams and external vendors.
